REVEALS Goes to DragonCon 2019

For over 25 years, DragonCon has been a fan convention held in Atlanta, GA. It is the third largest fan convention in the USA, and lasts for three days.

DragonCon covers SciFi & fantasy, movies, television, novels, comics, cosplay, gaming, and much more. It draws a large number of celebrity guests, hosts several competitions, and is famous for it's parade that includes The March of the Storm Troopers.

At DragonCon 2019, several members of the REVEALS team participated in a number of events. Dr. Valeria La Saponara, Dr. Esther Beltran, Dr. Thom Orlando, Dr. Micah Schaibel, and Dr. Stephen Robinson served on multiple panels and gave lectures in the Science Track. They discussed radiation mitigation research, the preparation of engineering students for the space industry, space gadgets, astrobiology, Sci-Fi, and the colonization of space!
